The backflow preventer enclosure is proudly made in the USA. This back flow enclosure features a lift-off design which provides maximum accessibility, and it comes with an ASSE Standard 1060 compliant drain flap. They do recommended  adding the Chromalox Heat Cable #30 with 90W of heat,  to help protect against freezing temperatures. This enclosure is made from marine grade aluminum, polyisocyanurate foam insulation board, and a glass fiber reinforced facer on each side. The enclosure is easy to set up, safe for testers, and helps offer protection from vandalism.

How to Size a Backflow Enclosure

Start by measuring the full installed assembly — including the backflow preventer, shutoff valves, test cocks, strainers, and any unions. That total measurement is your minimum inside clearance need. Then add at least 6 inches on each dimension so technicians can reach test cocks and perform annual testing without having to remove the enclosure.
