HD is the drivable, load-bearing panel for access lanes, platforms, and staging where vehicles and equipment travel. LD suits pedestrian zones and lighter loads like walkways and tent floors. Both share the 4' × 4' interlocking format, so you can mix them in one layout.
How many panels do I need?

Can Matrax support vehicles?
HD panels are engineered for heavy rolling loads and drivable access, with actual capacity dependent on the subsurface beneath. A level, compacted base is key to load performance. For specific vehicle weights, check the HD spec sheet or contact us.
Do I need ramps or edging?
Edging ramps (male and female) give a clean, trip-resistant perimeter and support ADA access onto the floor. The Signature Locking Tool speeds up engaging and releasing the cam-locks during install and teardown.
